People Photography
Photographing people is one of our specialties, and our favorite thing to do. We are always open to new and creative ideas for making a unique image in a variety of situations, and have the flexibility to work quickly with small and portable lighting gear, or bring full studio lighting for more involved shoots.
Common Projects
There are a number of common projects that people look to hire a photographer for, and below we list a few that we most frequently encounter with rough project estimates. Actual costs depend on the complexity of the situation and relevant expenses, so we encourage you to contact us so we can give you a more accurate estimate or to work out a custom arrangement to fit your budget.
In all our projects we grant individual reprinting rights, and return the images on a disc. Images can also be uploaded for online print ordering through our website.
Headshots
Perfect for performers, real estate agents and others who need an image for their resume, portfolio or other self-promotion materials.
Generally shot on location with simple lighting or available light, taking 20 to 40 minutes.
$100-$200 for a session.
Portraits
Individual, group or family portraits are shot on location, or studio space is rented. The length of the session depends on any outfit changes, location changes and the variety of shots desired.
$150-$400 for a session.
Special Events
Coverage of ceremonies, pageants, fundraisers, parties, etc. Situations commonly include awards, group shots, pictures of dignitaries or speakers, candids and journalistic coverage.
$150-$2500 per event.
